Yasèmia is a women's brand founded in 2021 by Christina Kanellou and Maria Michael. What started with a strong friendship and a shared passion for art and design has evolved into a brand that celebrates the beauty of details and the significance of craftsmanship.

The name "Yasèmia" is derived from "Yasemi" – the Greek word for "jasmine flower." This flower is a symbol of beauty, grace, and love, and it grows both in Greece, the homeland of the founders, and in Egypt, the country where Christina spent part of her childhood. This Mediterranean heritage, which combines both Greek and Egyptian influences, has deeply shaped Christina and continues to inspire her designs and the jewellery she curates to this day.

In 2023, the paths of Maria and Christina parted ways, but Christina decided to continue the vision of Yasèmia. Today, she lives in Düsseldorf with her husband, their three children, and their dog, but her love for art and design as well as her passion for jewelry remain unbroken.

We offer two collections: A premium collection featuring handcrafted jewelry pieces made with great love and dedication by Greek artisans. And a second collection that includes trendy yet high-quality "Ready-to-Wear" pieces that are more affordable but do not compromise on quality or style.
